The Ridgewood Library and BCCLS consortium of over 75 libraries offer nonfiction and fiction books for adults and children focusing on aspects of living with dementia and Alzheimer’s.

Reserve a Reminiscence Kit
The Ridgewood Public Library is pleased to partner with Bergen County Division of Senior Services, Valley Health, the BCCLS Library consortium, Village of Ridgewood, Bergen New Bridge Medical Center, Act Now Dementia Resource Center, and the Alzheimer’s Association of Greater New Jersey to launch the new Dementia Friendly Libraries Initiative.
We’ve seen an increasing need for services, and since the library already serves as a safe space for the community, we felt it was a natural place for people to seek out resources.
