Habernickel Technology Training Center |
| The Ridgewood Public Library offers popular computer classes in our state-of-the-art Habernickel Technology Training Center located on the second floor. The Center includes 8 individual student computers, an instructor’s workstation and is equipped with a Smart Board, a projected interactive screen designed to facilitate optimum learning. All classes are taught by staff librarians or trained volunteers. Many of the general beginner classes include a “helper” in addition to the instructor to provide extra assistance as needed. |

Unless noted, class fees are as follows:
Ridgewood cardholders $10 per class
Non-Ridgewood cardholders $20 per class
One to One Instruction: $50.00 per hour.

In-person registration is encouraged. Phone registrations by Ridgewood cardholders will hold a spot for 48 hours. All others must register in person. |
Important Reminders |
- Fees are non-refundable, and non-transferable.
- Ridgewood Cardholders who register for a class by phone must pay their class fee within 48 hours in order to secure their seat.
- Classes are 60 minutes, unless noted otherwise.
- Classes begin on time. Please arrive at the Training Center 5 minutes prior to the scheduled class time. To prevent disruptions, late arrivals will not be permitted into the Training Center after a class has started.
- If you register for a class series, you must be able to attend all sessions.
- Due to the high popularity of our computer classes, the repeating of classes is permitted only on a “stand-by” basis. Please leave your name & phone number at the Reference Desk.

One to One Computer Instruction
Personalized computer instruction is offered in our Technology Training Center for day or evening instruction on a number of topics. $50.00 per hour.
